The regional government of Krasnodar has announced an open auction to be held on August 22nd to sell 75% of shares of football club Kuban.
The starting price for the stake is set at $63m, with an auction step of $428,000.
Sports industry experts were today speculating as to the likely bidders, with many naming Ukrainian holding Industrialny Soyuz Donbassa, whose CEO Oleg Mkrtchan is originally from Krasnodar region, as the most likely candidate to buy the club.
